All Season Table Runner and Topper

A machine appliqué project for the beginner, making a 36” by 36” wall quilt/table topper and matching 12” by 40” table runner. We will create only the runner in class due to time limitations. Sewing machine required.
Basic Machine Quilting
Beverly Delaney
Learn fun ways of quilting on your sewing machine! We will practice straight-line quilting and free-motion quilting. With practice, you can learn this speedy way of finishing your quilts. A good working knowledge of your sewing machine is required.
Felted Wool Appliqué
Pauline Hazard
Make a tri-fold sewing kit while learning felted wool appliqué from pre-felted wool and recycled wool fabrics. A $10 kit fee payable to the teacher is required.
Usin' Fusin' to Express Yourself!

Using fusing, seamless piecing, and decorator threads & yarns, you will create a small art quilt designed by you. Raw edge appliqué with fusible web, machine quilting and embellishment will express something important to you: a feeling, a person, a garden, the beach…

Make this wonderful design using _ square triangles! Due to its size, this project will be offered as an all-day class. Sewing machine required.

Ideas for Machine Quilting your Quilt

Using LOTS of quilts and a power point presentation, Michele will show many ways you can machine quilt your completed tops.
Afternoon classes 2 - 5 P.M.

Three basic embroidery stitches, the back-stitch, lazy daisy, and French knot, will be practiced on tea towels in a hands-on class.
Using Novelty Fabrics -or that yard
of fabric you just HAD to have!

Whether it is novelty fabric, a large print or just a piece of fabric you couldn't resist, we will make a lap-size top from it in just three hours! Beginners will love this class for the quick cutting techniques; the more experienced quilters will love the ease, speed and fun of finishing a quilt top.
